We regret to announce that when our current stock is depleted, we will no longer be selling these displays.  Unfortunately, Vishay has raised their prices significantly (they were already high) and made it impractical for us to stock these displays.

Red LED DMD Bundles

Our Red LED DMD bundles contain a Vishay LEE-128G032B Display Module. The Display Module is a 128x32 Red LED Dot Matrix Display. It runs on 5V DC and can be driven directly by a P-ROC.

Bundle options:

  • LED_DMD_RED_S: DMD + 2.5ft data ribbon cable (14 conductor).
The LED_DMD_RED_S bundle is recommended for people who are installing an LED DMD in a custom machine or those who are retrofitting a DMD into a machine that didn't previously have one. Therefore, the bundle includes a data ribbon cable to connect the DMD to a controller, such as a P-ROC.
  • LED_DMD_RED_U: DMD + 3ft WPC/Stern power cable.
The LED_DMD_RED_U bundle is for people who are replacing a plasma dot matrix in an existing WPC/Stern machine. Therefore, it includes a power cable that plugs onto the high voltage power boards in WPC/Stern machines.

DMD Bundles

Orange LED DMD Bundles

Our Orange LED DMD bundles contain a Vishay LEE-128G032-1. This display runs on 5V DC and can be driven directly by a P-ROC.

While the Red DMD consists of 64 8x8 small LED matrixes, the Orange DMD is made with individual orange LEDs. It is therefore a much closer match to plasma DMDs typically found in pinball machines. Because it uses individual LEDs instead of matrixes, no matrix edge lines are visible.

 

Bundle options:

  • LED_DMD_ORANGE_S: DMD + 2.5ft data ribbon cable (14 conductor).
The LED_DMD_ORANGE_S bundle is recommended for people who are installing an LED DMD in a custom machine or those who are retrofitting a DMD into a machine that didn't previously have one. Therefore, the bundle includes a data ribbon cable to connect the DMD to a controller, such as a P-ROC.
  • LED_DMD_ORANGE_U: DMD only
The LED_DMD_ORANGE_U bundle is for people who are replacing a plasma dot matrix in an existing WPC/Stern machine. This display maintains connector compatibility with original WPC/Stern DMDs; so no additional cable is required.
