X-files with pinmame
« on: October 15, 2017, 06:52:54 AM »
Hello,

So I recently got a X-files and a P-ROC.
I got everything working except coils Q29 to Q32. At first I thought it was a problem on the powerdriver board, but I can find nothing wrong with it.
It seems like pinmame and/or the p-roc isn't working for those coils.

As a test I shorted SOLC and FLMP on U204 and in test when I select Q17 to Q24..., Q25 to Q32 also work.
So the datalines + chip enable are ok for U3 and U4

Then when I select Q25 to Q32 in test, it only works for Q25 to Q28 (+ Q17 to Q20)
Q29 to Q32 does nothing, Q21 to Q24 don't work either.
It seems like there is no signal for Q29 to Q32 .

Then I thought why not create custom code and see If I can control those coils like that, so I would know that the P-ROC is working correct.
But I'm unable to install "proc_env_installer_wHD_1.27" in windows 10, it gives an error on pypinproc... see my other post.

So I'm kinda stuck here...

So I was able to write some custom code, and I can fire off all coils.
So it seems the problem is with pinmame.

Any idea why coils C28 to C32 won't work ?
