Looking to replace my GI setup with RGB LED's what would the recommended bulb that most are using, and the control board for each bulb.

There are a number of ways to do this.  You could use the PD-LED board to control up to 28 RGB LEDs and use them for GI.  Some people use strings of serial RGB LEDs, like the WS2811 or WS2812 variants.  They can be controlled using an Arduino, a FadeCandy board, or something similar.  That's an inexpensive way to go, especially for GI, although there's some disagreement about using serial lamp strings in a pinball cabinet (noisy electrical environment).

Different people are using a variety of LEDs with the PD-LED board, depending on the way they've implemented lamps and how each lamp is being used.  Hopefully someone with more experience will chime in.
