dmd not defined?
« on: June 20, 2015, 11:48:41 AM »
Bear with me, my dmd newbie-ness is about to show...

Ok, I think I missed something simple here, and I am not quite sure what it is.

I am trying to put together a simple script dmd script for my skill shot mode.  Based on the documentation I found here:  http://mjocean.github.io/PyProcGameHD-SkeletonGame/DMD_Tutorial.html

Here is my script:
Code: [Select]
    self.layer = dmd.ScriptedLayer(224,112, [
      {'seconds':5, 'layer': self.game.animations['skillOpening']},
      {'seconds':5, 'layer': self.game.animations['skillShotHold']}])

I am getting an error back that states that the global name dmd is not defined.  Does the dmd controller have to be initiated?  The PyProcGameHD native dmd functions (animation, and displayText) appear to be working fine.

Thanks,
Alan

Oh. Good spotting that the tutorial doesn't include /everything/.

Up at the top you will need some imports. At least one of them is the line:

Code: [Select]
from procgame import dmd
